The Olympia Cruise ship is an older vessel, having been built in 1982 and previously owned by Caribbean Cruises. As such, we were initially concerned about the ship’s condition and the quality of the amenities and services it offers. To gather more information, we conducted some research online, reading through various reviews and opinions from other passengers. After reviewing this information, we realized that there are mixed opinions about the ship, with some praising its nostalgic charm and others expressing dissatisfaction with its age and condition. In this blog post, we will share our honest thoughts and experiences with the Olympia Cruise ship, including its pros and cons, to help you make an informed decision about whether it is the right choice for your next vacation.
The Honest Review of Celestyal Cruises.
CELESTYAL CRUISE SHIP CONDITION: EXCELLENT FOR ITS AGE
Celestyal cruises reviews : It was UNBELIEVABLE to our eyes, when we entered the boat and saw that the condition of the boat is still like new. The boat was recently renovated and it is well maintained. We read online that due to its age, the machines are noisy and the cruise will be shaky. No way guys. That’s not the case. At least for us, as a first time cruisers we have to point out the following to you:
- The ship is well maintained with many Restaurants, Bars, 2 Pools, Activities & Outdoor Games
- We had a room at the 5th Floor with a window. The rooms are small, but designed and optimised smart enough to feel large
- The photos of the rooms are unfair on Celestyal’s website. In reality the rooms are better. We think that Celestyal need to retake photos of their rooms :)
- The food quality and quantity, is a 9/10 from us. Check our instagram Celestyal highlights for food pictures and give us a follow: @angelinaandantonis
- Celestyal Staff is super polite & helpful. There is a medical centre also available on the 1st deck
- The only downside, but not important, is that the gym is a bit small.
- The most important think nowadays, is the cleanness & hygiene. On our deck (5), we felt like we were in a 5 star hotel. Sparkly clean. 10/10 from us.
CELESTYAL CRUISE ROUTE REVIEW: SMOOTH & SILENT
We told you we will be very honest for this review of Celestyal Cruises. We know we are not the experts to reviewing Cruise Ships, since this was our first cruise ever. However, as a first time “cruisers” we were very sensitive on these matters. Are Celestyal Cruises Good? Noisy? or Shaky? Check below
- Not noisy at all. The only noise is the horn, and shaky, when the boat start moving at the beginning.
- From Limassol to Crete, when we where near Crete, the cruise was a bit shaky, but that’s normal at that specific area.
- After that, all the other routes were absolutely smooth.
